BIPA Consoles Ewhrudjakpo, Oyadogha Families For Their Losses.

 

The leadership and members of the Bayelsa Independent Publishers Association (BIPA)  have extended their heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, the Ewhrudjakpo family, and the Ofoni Federated Community on the sudden passing of the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Ph.D.

BIPA described his passing as the loss of a strong pillar of support adding Senator Ewhrudjakpo proved himself to be a true man of the people.

Secretary, stated Ewhrudjakpo  displayed fatherly care and leadership and was invaluable to the Association.

Tge statement reads:"The news of Senator Ewhrudjakpo’s demise came to us as a profound shock. In disbelief, we fervently prayed that it would remain a rumour, but today the painful reality confronts us.

"This loss to the Government and people of Bayelsa State, and indeed to the nation at large, is indescribable to us. 

"Senator Ewhrudjakpo was a leader whose life exemplified integrity and discipline; virtues that remain unrivalled.

"We pray that God grants comfort and strength to the bereaved family and to the entire people of Bayelsa State during this difficult time.

"In a similar development, the Bayelsa Independent Publishers Association (BIPA) also lost one of its founding members today, Elder Union Oyadongha, who passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning.

"Elder Oyadongha was the Publisher of Banner News tabloid, a founding member of BIPA, and a past Chairman of the Association. Further announcements will be made by the family in due course.

"May their gentle souls rest in perfect peace.
