Special Assistant to the President on ICT Development and Digital Innovations, Tokoni Peter Igoin has set up a Six-man technical team known as Nigerian Youth Dashboard to aid Nigerian Youths in Job opportunities.
Igoin who made this known after an insightful engagement with the National Commissioner/CEO of the Nigerian Data Protection commission (NDPC), said the platform will connect youths to thousands of verified job opportunities, provide local and international certified courses and ensure data privacy and curb fake news with trusted information.
Tokoni Peter Igoin announcing the appointment on Sunday said that the approved establishment of a Nigerian Youth Dashboard with a simplified AI‑powered one‑stop‑shop platform will be used to connect Nigerian Youths to thousands of verified job opportunities all over.
He stated that the platform is not just through apps but also through WhatsApp stating that it will have support from NDPC, Cyberspace (CSR testbed for AI‑powered e‑learning), CAC (10‑minute registration on CAC using the New AI Registration Smart Portal), Ministry of Education, NIMC, and SSA on Student Engagement.
He also announced that to drive this vision, a dedicated technical team has been nominated to create Opportunities for youths in Nigeria to show their full potential and the team is made up of
The six man committee are Godwin Avidi, Technical Adviser, NDCI, Technical Lead, Office of the SAP-ICT, Emmanuel Preye Sinclair, Coordinations, Onome Amukuyo, Technical Representative 1 NDCI, Ebisuobo Ayakiri, Technical Representative 2 NDC, ANGOZIDE Angozide Nemutu Edisemi representative 3 NDCI and Saint Mienpamo Onitsha, Communication strategist NDCI.
He congratulated the Technical team and urged that "together, we are building a credible, simplified digital ecosystem that ensures Nigerian youths are not left behind in the global digital economy."
