The youths of Onuimo Local Government Area held a successful town hall engagement with Hon. Dr. Mandela Ukaegbu, Commissioner for Youth and Talent Hunt.
The interactive session, tagged "Onuimo Youth Town Hall Engagement," focused on exploring opportunities for youth empowerment, development, and integration.
The commissioner and members of the Youth Ministry were well welcomed in Onuimo LGA Headquarter by the LGA Boss, Hon. Dr. Emeka Obi.
The engagement aimed to create a platform for youths to voice their concerns, contribute to decision-making processes, and collaborate with the government to drive positive change in the community. By recognizing and empowering the youth, the people of Onuimo LGA can look forward to a more secure and prosperous future.
The Commissioner, after reeling out some of the upcoming youths programs, assured Onuimo Youths of their steady inclusion whenever the programmes commences.
I am particularly delighted that Onuimo is now being recognized and put in the spotlight. This achievement is a testament to the tireless efforts of our Godsent Chairman, Hon. Dr. Emeka Paul Obi, PhD, who has worked relentlessly to restore peace and ensure the safety of lives and properties in Onuimo. The level of peace and security we now enjoy in Onuimo is unparalleled, and it's clear that our community has nothing to worry about when it comes to security.
Under Hon. Dr. Obi's leadership, Onuimo has witnessed significant progress not only in security but also in infrastructural development. His dedication to the well-being of Onuimolites is evident in the positive changes our community is experiencing.
I am equally happy with how Onuimo youths fearlessly marshaled out some pressing issues that need urgent attention in Onuimo. The youths who took turns to speak are really wonderful, and I hope their concerns have been taken into serious consideration because we have our sons and daughters at the top.
I, Amb. Princewill Confidence Ndubuisi Ekeogu, as a Great and Untiring Advocate for Youth Developments, Empowerments, and Integration, I am using this medium to tell the Governor, HE. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, that Onuimo is safe, and we are very ready to welcome any projects, programs, that target youth empowerment, development, and integration. There's no need to be afraid; we will protect any facility coming to Onuimo LGA for youth development, seminars, and enlightenment with the last drop of our blood.
The youths of Onuimo have been truly engaged, and we believe solely in the government of our beloved brother, Hon. Dr. Emeka Obi. In solidarity and synergy with the Local Government Council, Onuimo will be great again. So, my Governor, consider Onuimo good to go. We are waiting for you, sir.
