The Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri amd his wife, Mrs Susan Heineken Lokpobiri, have celebrated their son, Mr. Demateide Samuel Lokpobiri for his academic prowess.
This was as the son successfully graduated with distinction in Law from the University of Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom.
Speaking on the academic progress, Lokpobiri stated that he was happy for having a son follow his professional stint describing the moment as deeply emotional and fulfilling.
Shortly after the graduation, he said:“I am overwhelmed with joy to see my son follow in my footsteps as a seasoned lawyer.
"“This is a proud moment for our family, and I give all glory to God for his academic success.
"The achievement marks a significant milestone in Mr. Demateide Lokpobiri’s journey, as he prepares to contribute meaningfully to societal development."
Also speaking, Mrs Susan Heineken Lokpobiri, the wife of the Honorable Minister and the mother of Master Demeateide thanked God Almighty for his grace and mercies in making the historic day possible.
Honorable Mrs Susan Heineken Lokpobiri, who is the CEO, Reaching Every Adult And Child Foundation, expressed her profound gratitude to their beloved son for making them proud despite all the challenges they went through in building a brighter future for him.
She further applauded him for the remarkable milestone he has earned in his academic career and urged him to be prayerful and diligent as he advances in pursuit of his dreams in life.
Hon. Mrs Susan Heineken Lokpobiri thanked her husband who regularly played the role of a husband and father in the up-bring of their son and extend her appreciation to staff and members of Reaching Every Adult And Child Foundation (REACIF) who have sent constant pleasantries through phone and video calls to celebrate with her family.
Sen Lokpobiri and wife who were accompanied by friends and well- wishers to participate in the event also appreciated everyone who came from far and near to share in their memorable moments of Joy.
