The Executive Secretary Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe described late Edwin Kiagbodo Clark as a staunch advocate of local content, an educationist, a philanthropist and a statesman.
Speaking on Tuesday at Kiagbodo, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, where he joined dignitaries from across the country to pay their last respect to the late elder states man and founder of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), the NCDMB executive secretary noted that most initiatives of the NCDMB aligned with some of the ideals and programmes championed by the late Ijaw leader.
He assured that the Board will sustain Clark’s legacies through effective implementation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act, particularly the integration of oil and gas producing communities into the industry value chain.
The Executive Secretary was accompanied by the Director Planning Research and Statistics, NCDMB, Mr. Isaac Yalah, Dr.Obinna Ezeobi, acting general manager, corporate communications among others.
