Nigeria's Local Content Drives The Oil Sector In Nigeria: Lokpobiri

The Minister for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri has disclosed that  the country's local content  has continued to deliver the sophistication necessary to drive the  oil sector in Nigeria.

This he said  was evident in the strides made by indigenous companies like Monarch Alloys Limited, which  he said are delivering cutting-edge solutions and services in the energy sector.

Speaking at the weekend in Lagos  at the commissioning ceremony of Monarch Alloys Limited in Lagos State,  he  highlighted the company's significant contributions, offering specialization in advanced pipe coating services, including Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE), dual-layer FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP, and Polyurethane coatings.

Lokpobiri said:"These achievements are made possible by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's pragmatic leadership, which focuses on economic growth and supports local enterprises.

"His administration's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for indigenous companies has been instrumental in these advancements.

"I commend Monarch Alloys Limited for this significant milestone and encourage them to continue delivering excellence.

"The Government remains steadfast in providing the necessary support to ensure that such indigenous initiatives thrive, further propelling our nation's energy sector forward.
