The Ministry of Petroleum Resources said that she remains committed to identifying areas with high potential for oil exploration with the frontier exploration fund which has been made available under the Petroleum Industry Act.
Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister of state for Petroleum Resources (Oil), disclosed this on Tuesday at Abuja when he received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kuantyrov Alibek, and members of his team who paid him a courtesy visit.
He said that the huge mineral resources deposits, adopting advanced technologies to sustain the exploration activities in a cleaner and greener manner is of great importance.
Hear him:" With the Frontier Exploration Fund, made available under the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), the Ministry of Petroleum Resources remains committed to identifying areas with high potential for oil exploration.
