The Minister of States for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, has said that Nigeria's pride lies in the immense capacity of her energy sector.
He said that the sector guarantees mutual profitability for both investors and the nation.
Delivering the Oil Industry Address at the opening ceremony of the 8th edition of the Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES) in Abuja on Tuesday, he made the bold declaration that Nigeria was ready for business.
He said that the country has recorded remarkable achievements under President Nola Tinubu.
He assured" Our pride lies in the immense capacity of our energy sector, which guarantees mutual profitability for both investors and the nation.
"Under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we have recorded significant achievements, creating an investor-friendly environment that encourages sustainable partnerships.
"We have addressed longstanding bottlenecks through a robust legal framework and an enabling environment, strengthened by Presidential Executive Orders designed to streamline operations for investors.
"The reforms extend beyond national borders, positioning Nigeria as a gateway to the larger West African market.
"With these strategic advancements, our oil sector is now fully open for investments, and Nigeria stands not just as an energy giant but as a partner of choice for global investors."
