Fourteen Persons Nominated By Diri As Commissioner Designate.

 

In  continuation of his second tenure,G

overnor Douye Diri of  Bayelsa State  on Friday forwarded fourteen  names as commissioner-nominees to the House of Assembly.

 This is to enable   the House of Assembly  screen them for onward  and confirmation.

Conveying the names via a letter signed by him and  titled, “Forwarding of Commissioner Nominees and  addressed to the Speaker of the House, it reads."Pursuant to the provisions of Section 192 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), I hereby forward the under-listed names for confirmation by the House as Commissioners of the Government of Bayelsa State.”

Marked GHYN/COS/Vol.1/105, the letter has  Dambo Biriyai, SAN; Maxwell Ebibai, Moses Teibowei, Daniel Igali, Gentle Emelah, Ayibakipreye Broderick, George Flint and Jones Ebieri.

Others  are Mrs Koku Obiyai, Komuko Akari, Perepuighe Biewari, Peter Afagha, Mrs Elizabeth Bidei and Michael Magbisa.
