The Lagos State Police Command said that it has a tested Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, AKA Sam Larry over the death of Mohbad.
He was said to have been arrested on Thursday night by the Lagos Police and taken into custody where he is presently cooling off.
The internet had gone agog after the death of Mohbad whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba that Sam Larry's may be there since he had alledgedly threatened him.
Nigerians cried out for the police to unravel the mystery surrounding Mohbad's strange murder on September 12th.
In many video posts and in a recent interview with content Creator Reno Omokri, Naira Marley, who is currently abroad, had denied any involvement directly or indirectly in Mohbad's demise.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman of the command hd reacted that "Sam Larry is in police custody and is actively supporting the police with their continuing investigation.
"Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody," tweeted Hundeyin. He is now supporting an ongoing investigation.
