Killing Of LP Campaign Director: Kalu Condemns Act

 

 Zachary Maduka , the former Campaign Director of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, in Abia State  has been beheaded.

The seventy years old Maduka was headed at Uturu in  Isiukwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.

He was said to have been murdered before  his family members of his family by the unidentified assailants who also severed their victim's head and made away with it.

Reacting to the barbaric act,  the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu  described as inhuman and barbaric the act.

In a statement  on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu expressed shock over the gruesome murder.

 

He commiserates with the family of the deceased and assured  that his office will be willing to support the State government in its efforts to apprehend the perpetrators of the dastardly act and rid the area of insecurity.

He urged the security agencies to comb the nooks and crannies of the state and  deploy intelligence to fish out the culprits wherever they may have run to.
