As the Governorship Election for Imo, Bayelsa and Kogi States draw closer, the Labour Party Candidate, Athan Achonu has assured Imolites that the use of propaganda against him but opponents shows that they are actually having sleepless nights by his candidature.
Speaking at the weekend at Aboh Mbaise council area of Imo state, during the flag off of his governorship campaign, he stated that the alleged blackmail against would not stop his moves to become next Imo governor.
He said that he intends to liberate the state from insecurity and industrialize the state.
The Labour Party Candidate said “For the past thirty years I’ve been investing and providing employment for thousands of Imo citizens.
"I offered scholarship to thousands, employed and paid hundreds as well as invested in the agro industry which is one of the biggest in the entire South East.
Recall that Athan Achonu owns several businesses in Imo State including Neejach Engineering and Okebaram Limited.
