Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum has appointed Andrew Banigo, a noteworthy youth from Rivers State, as the Community Manager for the Nigerian region of the esteemed Community.
Banigo who is an indigene of Bonny Local Government area of Rivers State and an Alumni of the University of Port Harcourt, brings on board his wealth of experience which is a clear manifestation that he is best fit for this role.
Before assuming this prestigious role in the Community, he served in various positions including the Curator of the Port-Harcourt Hub, leaving an exceptional track record.
He is presently an Advocacy Coordinator at the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND), and the Project coordinator of NDLink, a prominent digital platform for development stakeholders in the Niger Delta.
According to a statement on Tuesday, his new role as the Community Manager will enable Banigo to spearhead initiatives that will foster collaboration, drive innovation, and cultivate leadership skills among the 17 Hubs and community members in the Nigerian region.
His role it was gathered will involve nurturing a vibrant and inclusive community of young leaders who are committed to effecting positive change in their respective fields.
