The National Publicity Secretary of Ijaw National Congress Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha has rates the outgoing administration under the leadership of Muhammadu Buhari very low describing it as scoring 20/100.
He said that the president has however apologized to Nigerians for not doing well.
Speaking on Friday to Crystal news on Friday, he stated “The Outgoing President himself has apologized to Nigerians that means that he has also realized that he didn’t do well.
“The health sector is bad. The educational sector is bad. There is high rate of unemployment. The level of poverty is very high. Terrorismand banditry has increased.
“I can’t really count one particular area right now that we can applaud anybody. I give that outgoing administration 20% over 100%.
“I cannot say for sure in any place that he achieved anything. He took over from Jonathan.
“During Jonathan’s time, we had some challenges in security. That was when we talked about the Chibok girls. When Buhari came in, we were hoping that he could have done far more but instead banditry, terrorism, kidnapping, herdsmen and all manner of criminalityi increased
“And for the incoming government, the electorate didn’t vote for the incoming president. That indicates that people are angry with the current leadership.
“People don’t have confidence in the leadership anymore. The records are there. He got about 33% votes which means about 67% percent of voters didn’t vote for the president elect.
“I think he needs a lot to do. First of all to see how he can empower the youths. A lot of them have left in the last two years, what they call Jappa.
“Look at the number of persons that are coming back from Sudan. Nigerians that went there to find greener pastures. There is a lot to be done to reassure Nigerians that this leadership will look at the concerns of the citizenry.
