Security Alert: Let's Work Together to Keep Imo State Safe*

As we continue to strive for a safe and prosperous Imo State, it is essential that we recognize the crucial role each of us plays in maintaining homeland security.

The Imo State Ministry of Homeland Security and Vigilante Affairs urges you to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or movements around you.

*The Threat is Real*

With an influx of petty criminals, including Okeite voodoo native doctors, fleeing from neighboring States, it is vital that we, as responsible citizens, are proactive in preventing them from taking refuge in our communities.

*Your Responsibility*

As a responsible citizen of Imo State, you are expected to:

- *Report suspicious activities*: Inform the authorities about any unusual movements or behaviours in your neighbourhood.

- *Screen new tenants*: Ensure that all new tenants fill out the required ACQUAINTANCE FORMS, which will be verified by landlords, President Generals of Imo communities, and Local Government Council Chairmen. These ACQUAINTANCE FORMS  are free! 

- *Cooperate with Authorities*:

 Provide actionable intelligence to help the Ministry of Homeland Security and Vigilante Affairs identify and apprehend potential threats.

*Consequences of Non-Compliance*

Failure to comply with these directives may result in severe consequences, including:

- Demolition of houses or estates found to be harbouring criminals

- Government takeover of such properties/land.
