Minimah Congratulates Governor Fubara On Successful Local Government Elections

 

Lt. Gen Kenneth Minimah (rtd) CFR, former Chief of Army Staff of the Nigerian Army,  has congratulated His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, (GRRS) the Executive Governor of Rivers State, on the successful conduct of the Rivers State Local Government elections.

General Minimah commended the governor for ensuring that the elections were held. 

Recall that River State held their local government  election at the weekend which saw APP winning 22 local governments.

In a press statement on Sunday, he noted that the just-concluded Local Government election was a significant milestone for the state and Governor Sim's "Rivers State First" administration. 

The General further urged the governor to stay resolute in steering the state towards greater development.

The former Army Chief also congratulated the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), political parties, and all candidates who participated in the elections for the peaceful conduct of the elections. 

He urged the elected officials to prioritize the welfare of the people also calling on the people of Rivers State to support the governor for the overall interest of the state.
