Ibena Rufus Salvation, the national chairman, Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Phase 2, has commended the PAP Administrator, Dr. Dennis Brutus Otuaro, for his initiative in securing job and other opportunities for beneficiaries of the programme.

Recall that Otuaro  recently went into  partnership with the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to make sure that jobs are secured for some PAP beneficiaries.

In a statement on Saturday, Ibena said the collaboration marks a major milestone in the ongoing reintegration efforts for individuals involved in the Niger Delta struggle.

He emphasized that the PAP Administrator has the full authority to work with any government agency, including the NDLEA, to ensure the successful employment and reintegration of beneficiaries.

Ibena urged critics, particularly those who were not directly part of the Niger Delta struggle but still receive benefits from the Amnesty Programme, to avoid making unverified statements.

Expressed gratitude to the PAP Administrator for his continued commitment to the programme, he  encouraged him to continue fostering more partnerships to ensure that the programme continues to achieve positive outcome for all involved.

He stated:" Those who are not recognized beneficiaries, should seek proper education and understanding of the programme before voicing their opinions."
