Former president of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has condoled with the Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno on the demise of his dear wife, Patience Eno.
Jonathan in a condolence message on Saturday to the Akwa Governor and released by his media aide, Wealth Dickson Ominabo said late Patience Eno was a virtuous lady and a woman leader who championed many just causes towards the upliftment of women in Akwa Ibom State.
Jonathan also noted that the death was a sad occurrence that caused a great vacuum in the life of the governor and the people of Akwa Ibom State adding that she will be missed by many because of her motherly care and compassion.
Jonathan prayed for God to comfort the bereaved family and urged the Governor to take solace in his wife's enduring legacies and the fact that she ran a good race while on earth.
The message reads:"I am deeply saddened to hear about the death of your beloved wife, Her Excellency Patience Eno. She was a virtuous lady and a woman leader who championed many just causes towards the upliftment of women in Akwa Ibom State.
"Her death leaves a big vacuum in your family and the entire Akwa State because of her motherly care and compassion. She was a pillar of support and strength to you and a symbol of hope and consolation to many women and other groups in the Niger Delta."
