While acknowledging that previous administrations in the State left a lot of gaps in the area of land acquisition and estate development, the governor has not rested on his oars in his determination to clean up all controversies surrounding estates development and land acquisition in the State.
The governor takes note of some complaints coming from acclaimed land owners in the different parts of the State, and it is imperative to reassure every investor, that any land, legitimately acquired, anywhere in the State, is safe, as the governor shall not allow anyone who legitimately invested in the State to lose, even a strip of their lands, anywhere in the State.

However, the governor shall not be blackmailed into abandoning any reforms he has sanctioned in any sector in the State.
Investors in Imo State are urged to follow, only, approved channels in rectifying all issues relating to their earlier acquired landed properties in the State. Those who work in the real estate sector in the State are encouraged to ensure that they do their due diligence, before inviting clients to enter into any transaction related to landed properties in the State, as the governor is unwavering in his commitment to ensuring that those who misused responsibilities given to them in the past to appropriate State lands to themselves and their cronies, are made to surrender such lands.
