The President of Okpoama Kingdom Youth Movement in Brass Local Governmnent Area of Bayelsa State, ,Seiyefa Felix Ben-Basuo has called on Festus Damiebi to leave Timipre Sylva out of his travails stating that Sylva doesn't have anything to do with current challenges.
Recall that Damiebi had recently accused the Nigerian Army of posing a danger to his life and destroying his properties at his country home, Igbomoturo 1 in Southern Ijaw Local Governmnent of the state.
He had linked what ever that is happening to him to Sylva but the youth leader had said that Chief Timpre Sylva never campaigned in Okpoama Kingdom during the 2023 Governorship polls in Bayelsa, but only visited the community to let his people know about his ambition.
The former All Progressives Congress Governorship Aspirant in the 2023 Bayelsa State Governorship Election Bayelsa, Festus Damiebi had alleged that Chief Sylva was in Okpoama to campaign and his Deputy Governorship Candidate Joshua Maciver had made some inciting statements.
Daumiebi had in a press conference last weekend alleged a threat to his life by the Nigerian Army, citing his refusal to support the 2023 All Progressive Governorship ticket in the state.
He also claimed that the two separate attacks on his country home in Igbomotoru 1 in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area in March and May, has political undertone.
But in a statement on Tuesday, Ben-Basuo alleged that the statement by Maciver was made in a different community and not in Okpoama and urged Daumiebi to keep Okpoama out of the security challenges he is facing.
