THE REACH Renovates Home For PLWD

 



 THE REACH Nigeria foundation,  with it's sponsors  and partners recently  commissioned a  renovated Cheshire home in Port Harcourt old town meant for the physically challenged  also known as persons living with disabilities.




The commissioning was done by Mr. Sam Ogulu Burna Boy's dad along side  his distinguished friends and some partners of the REACH; High Chief Eddy Yinkere, Rev Dr G. B Bagudu, Mr Sonny Nwankwo, Mr Isaac Okemini, Bekinbo Dagogo Jack





Others are  Dr Mercy Abu, Hon Austin Opara, Hon Chamberlin Peterside, Mrs Ngozi Ugochukwu (partner), Mr Nonso Orajaka  (partner), and Mrs Ibiba Omotoso.




The trustees of the REACH were ably represented by it's Chairperson, Dame Floretta Halliday, Dr. Sylvia Cole, Bruce Lucas and Yvonne Iwo-Brown. 




The renovation project was fully funded by Burna Boy through his foundation,  Spaceship, initiated by DashMe Foundation and implemented by THE REACH Nigeria foundation.




It was a celebration galore for the residents, people living with disabilities and friends, in appreciation of the well refurbished and equipped building 




The residents thanked everyone and asked not to be forgotten as more is needed.
