Celebrating The Good Works Of James Esile Uba.

By Admin

Born some forty eight years ago, James Esile Uba from Okwe in Imo State  from the look of things seemed to have been born to  lift the people of Onuimo State Constituency from the shackles of poverty.

As a man from the most disadvantaged local government (Onuimo), Esile having so much passion to contribute his quota towards  the development of Onuimo local government and towards amolierating  the suffering of his constituents delved into politics.

Of course, it is a common knowledge that politics is one of the most  lucrative businesses in Nigeria now.

Also Esile delved  into politics to push for the betterment of the indigenes of the local government and so that the voice of the people will be heard.

This he did through a platform known as fresh air movement a platform that helped him to achieve his aim of becoming a house of Assembly member representing Onuimo State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly.

It will interest you to know that despite solving his immediate challenges, he has done so many things for his constituents yhe reason why people from the constituency are calling  him a servant leader.

Esile has touched so many lives in his short time as the representative of Onuimo State Constituency through his laudable initiatives.

Since he came on board as the member representing Onuimo state Constituency at the Imo State House of Assembly, he has consistently remained vocal on issues bordering on the development of the constituency and the locals.

He also has been  quietly and colourfully clothing  thousands of Onuimolites in beautiful apparels before and after his Inauguration.

It is also worthy to mention that the vibrant Esile has procured  West African Examination Council Forms and  Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Forms  for some  Onuimo young school leavers.

This  action has  remained an annual ritual for him. He also assisted  eleven Onuimo  youths  to secure admission into the Imo State University this year.

To make the the constituency more visible, he has also been pushing to make sure that more Onuimo people are captured in the state civil service recruitment.

This  he has done through series of protest at the floor of the house where he complained that his Constituency has the lowest number of staff in the state civil service.

The law maker has also helped in registering over two hundred Onuimo youths to participate in the ongoing Cohort 3 of Imo skill up digital empowerment and training in the State.

Just recently, he  appointment over forty five  special Advisers to assist him in achieving his burning desire and vision of New Onuimo which  he feels should start from the  grassroots.

Just in less than one year of his leadership, the  embodiment of respect, love, humility, unity accessibility and deep sense of empathy has done alot for the betterment of the people of the constituency.

He is a man who shows positive regard and consideration for others, acknowledging their worth, dignity and individuality always treating others with respect, kindness, empathy and courtesy.

Recall that James Esile Ubah had once  called on Governor Hope Uzodimma to save Alaocha community in Eziama Okwe, Onuimo local government area of the state from the catastrophic erosion menace which has  destroyed its major link road.

In a motion  he sponsored,  he noted that the people of Alaocha are mainly farmers and  that they earn their living from farm and agricultural produce.

He disclosed that they also  use the link road to export  these produce to other local government areas of the state.

But he regretted that  agriculture and other socio-economic activities have suffered a devastating and terrible set-back due to frightening erosion menace in the community.

From all indications, he has made up his mind to keep on pushing until development and the dividends of democracy are witnessed in the constituency.

No wonder some of the constiteunts testified that with what the  true "servant leader" is doing,   they will  continue to celebrate him.
