In what seems as a twist of faith the General Overseer of Ephethah Glory Minisrtry Mbiama Rivers State,Pastor Isaac Smart Osigwe has dug out three big Bibles which were buried by some self acclaimed propheteses some eleven years ago.
The pastor also known as Apostle Moro Moro in the vicinity said that the community members had approached him to come and bring out the three giant Bibles from where they were buried after approaching other pastors in the community who declined to do the work.
He said the people were complaining that after burying the Bibles, nothing had been going in that community.
Narrating his story to crystalnews, the pastor said he went at where the three Bibles were buried and started digging them out adding surprisingly those bibles were still intact after the 2012 and 2022 floods.
He said no water touched them, even the nylon that was used to wrap them was intact, no termite bite, no water. Nothing.
"I got a letter from the community saying "you are highly invited to take part in the uprooting of some holy bibles that were buried in Mbiama community playground some years ago. That was the caption of the letter. So after reading it, I didn’t really understand the meaning but when I saw bible buried to be uprooted, I understood.
"That was why I didn’t go with many people for recording purpose.. But when we got there, they told us the truth that years ago, some female propheteses came and told them that they have to bury bibles for what ever purpose don’t know. So they buried these same size of the bible as fresh as they bought them. They didn't unseal it, it was still sealed. They put them in black nylon and buried them about three feet that and sealed it with cement.
"When we got there, truly nothing is actually moving in that community. Nothin is showing that there is glory of God and we believe that the reason is because of the bible that they buried.
"We brought them out after removing the cement they used which has turned to heavy stone. When we uprooted them, water surrounded the Bibles but didn't enter inside the nylon. But I don’t think that the reason why the bibles were not soaked is because of the nylon because based on the gravity of water, it supposed to get soaked no mater how it was sealed. According to them, they said eleven years ago.
"The 2012 and 2022 floods came and nothing happened to the bibles. We were so surprised after we dug them out, we found out that nothing happended to the bibles even termites didn’t eat the bibles.
"When we brought them out , they were all fresh as when they were buried. So we bless the land with salt and water which we read from the bible. They brought salt andt water and we turned it and poured it on the one that was already there and blessed the water and covered the place.
"We shared the bible one to the Paramant ruler, one to the pastor that assisted me and one is this one I'm having here.
"The only thing is that my wife said that whenever she touches the bible, she feels cold which means there is something strange about the bible but whatever is the case, he that is in us is greater than he that is in the world and I'm here totally for the work of God and both the indigenes and non indegines are confirming the work of God in this land through me Apostle Smart. He narrated.
