Imo APC Flagg's Off The Mother Of All  Campaigns For Uzodimma

*As Shettima Leads Campaign

As the Imo State Chapter of All Progressives Congress  flags off the mother of all campaigns to make sure that Go ernor Hope Uzodimma if re- elected,  the vice president of Nigeria Kashim  Shetima  has  praised Governor Hope Uzodimma for his apparent progress toward  state's development.

Shettima however declared that Hope Uzodimma  deserves another four years to continue his outstanding leadership notifying the audience that Mr. President is  one hundred  percent behind the re-election bid  of Senator Hope Uzodimma.

Speaking in Owerri during the campaign to market the incumbent,

Shetima said that Governor Hope Uzodimma has done exceedingly well in terms of infrastructural development in the state.

He said " We cannot afford to be complacent on the 11th of next month. We should all come out in full force and re-elect the Governor. I want to reiterate that the President is 100 percent behind Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Also speaking, National Chairman of the Party, His Excellency, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje  stated that voters should support continuity by re-electing Governor Hope Uzodimma since the state cannot currently afford a change in leadership adding  that the governor needs to be re-elected.

He said that "It  is significant because it has become part of our culture to drop projects that the previous administration had begun when a new one took office. We are pleading with you because we need continuity in both our case and your case.

On his part, Senator Hope Uzodimma said that the 3R Government has saved Imo State from infrastructural decay stating that  "the people in this stadium did not receive any mobilization from me; they came on their own to support their governor for the good works he has done and is still doing.

"I do not doubt in my mind that every living soul in Imo State, who was here when we came in by January 2020, who is objective and honest will quickly tell anybody who cares to know that the Imo State we met in 2020 is no longer the same now.

"A lot of improvements have been made in virtually all sectors of the economy. I will not be contradicted if I say that life has become more meaningful, we have rescued our state from the infrastructural decay we met on the ground.

"Now we have a new Imo State where equity, justice, and transparency will be the order of the day", Senator Hope said.

His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bassey Otu, the governor of Cross River State, and the Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council, and Dr. McDonald Ebere, the State Chairman of the APC in Imo State, both members of the APC National Campaign Council, spoke during the flag-off about the party's unity at the National, State, and Local levels.
