The Imo Social Contract Group, an NGO and political pressure group, will hold its leadership meeting on Saturday, September 2nd at Owerri, the Imo State capital.
This the group disclosed is to critically dissect the political situation in Imo state as it affects the forthcoming governorship election which holds on the 11th November 2023.
According to Fabian Ihekweme, PhD the Convener of Imo Social Contract Group, he said the meeting will hold under his leadership.
The e powerful political he stayed movement boasts of leaders from different backgrounds; lawyers, lecturers, bankers, journalists, seasoned administrators, community and thought - leaders.
Also the group he maintained has political strategists, tested technocrats, religious heads, experienced politicians, former and serving government functionaries.
He stayed "With the theme, Charting a New Path to Progress and Taking Ownership of Government through a Responsive Leadership Approach and Mass Mobilization, the leadership meeting is expected to have in attendance, great minds within and outside the state.
"Though a prelude to a more enlarged public and open meeting, the group is expected to raise a position paper and a communique, which will be made available to press men at the end of the proceeding.
