Imo Governorship Election: APC Chairman Leads Campaign.

MacDonald Ebere, PhD, the Imo State APC Chairman has spearheaded a delegation of APC zonal political leaders on a tour of Local Government Areas (LGAs), kickstarting their journey with visits to Ezinihitte Mbaise and Ahiazu Mbaise.

The tour underscores the party's commitment to the Gospel of Shared Prosperity and Governor Hope Uzodimma's re-election aspirations, particularly within Owerri zone.

Addressing a jubilant crowd in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Hon. Ebere expressed his profound gratitude for the overwhelming support demonstrated by the people of the region.

He passionately spoke about the potential that a second term for Governor Uzodimma holds, promising enhanced opportunities for the Ndi Mbaise community.

He said  "We are dedicated to creating more avenues for progress and prosperity.

He  reiterated the administration's pledge to uplift the grassroots and ensure widespread benefits of democracy.

With an air of determination, Hon. Ebere underscored Governor Uzodimma's commitment to infrastructural development, highlighting the ongoing reconstruction of Owerri-Mbaise road as a testament to the administration's dedication to improving the lives of the people.

"This vital project reflects our promise to enrich the lives of the Mbaise Nation," he stated.

Imo State Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, engaged the audience in a healthy dialogue, urging citizens in the two LGAs to denounce violence and disruptive behavior that could hinder progress in the region.

"We must stand united against anyone attempting to undermine our land with insecurity and turmoil," Prof. Njoku asserted.

He further encouraged the residents to rally behind Governor Uzodimma, citing the leader's vision and transformative plans for Ezinihitte Mbaise and Ahiazu Mbaise.

Ahiazu Mbaise resonated with Chief Jerry Chukwueke and Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi's call to action. They emphasized the importance of political and traditional leaders' roles in restoring Mbaise's historical dignity.

Hon. Ebere's resumption at the microphone offered a valuable lesson on peaceful coexistence. Stressing the vital role of harmony in community development, he implored the audience to embrace understanding and unity for the greater good.

The Local Government Area tour sets a dynamic tone for the region's political landscape, solidifying the commitment of leaders towards uplifting the lives of citizens and driving progress under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State.
