We are Ready for Open Collaboration.. GM People's FM

 

The General Manager of People's FM 93.1 in Yenagoa BAYELSA state  Mrs. Chichi Umesiaka, said they are ready for open collaboration with the Eunice Nnachi Women Advocacy Foundation (ENWAF) in other for them to succeed.


She said they are ready to partner with an any Non Governmental Organization that will better the society at Large.


Mrs. Chichi dropped this when ENWAF led by it founder and chief executive officer, Miss Eunice Nnachi and other members to the Radio station for advocacy visit.


In her word, " thank you for considering People's FM. We are very open to collaboration like these, we are called People's FM for a reason. We are People oriented, people centered and anything that will reach out geniuly, we are open for collaboration"


Speaking further said, she is passionate about anything that will better the society, especially teenagers, both boys and girls. "When we talk about teenage pregnancy, the society focus on the girl and leave the boy alone".


" That is why I want your programme to be Tailored made, look within the society and organized programme that will address salient issues critically to get a tangible result. You don't take up so much but the one you take, let it produce result".


Eunice Nnachi Women Advocay foundation is a non profit and nongovernmental organization, duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC.


Speaking earlier, the founder and chief executive officer of ENWAF, Mrs. Eunice Nnachi, said they visited the station to seek collaboration for the newly birth NGO in other to succeed.


According to her, "ENWAF is designed to add value to women, girl-child, organizations and society at large. Our aim is to help build the next generation of woman leaders in Nigeria through intelligent planning and focused effort. 


"Our vision includes making women self reliant, mentor them and advocate  rights over sustainable livelihood resources.


"Our main focus is on teen mothers/out of school children in our societies.Pregnancy related school dropouts, especially in the rural areas have become a matter of public concern, as studies show that the age at first intercourse is reducing.


"We aim to empower this young single mothers who often raise their children without sufficient family/financial support to enable them cultivate their self confidence and participate in society as responsible individuals."
